Pursuant to article 7 of the amended law of 16 December 2008 (loi modifiée du 16 décembre 2008) on assistance measures for children and families, children capable of discernment and their parents may have access to the file kept at the Office national de l’enfance (ONE, National Office for Children) and in particular to the administrative and socio-educational documents included in this personal file.
The applicant does not need to claim an “interest to act“ and does not have to motivate the request. The written request for access must include:
- name (at birth),
- first name,
- place of birth,
- details of the applicant.
