The youth policy is based on the active consultation of young people, youth organisations and professionals who work with and for young people, but also on collaboration with the research community to get a good understanding of the situation for young people in Luxembourg and the issues that they are concerned about.
This is supplemented by European cooperation, in particular the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027.
The objective of the youth policy is to aid young people’s development, to support their social and professional integration, to improve their self-esteem and their active participation.
